Joetsu, Niigata, Nagano & Tohoku Snowliners

Snowliners departing from Ikebukuro(late-evening and early-morning departures), Yokohama, Machida and Chiba are offered as an alternative to using Shinkansen or JR Express Trains. Most buses depart in the late-evening and will spend the journey overnight arriving at your ski destination in the morning allowing you plentiful of time to enjoy a full day of skiing. For the return journey, buses depart in the afternoon and with some services departing in the late-evening too.

Customers can purchase the Snowliner ticket along with your ski accommodation as a package at a special rate or can also purchase the ticket by itself. No minimum passengers requirement.

Tickets are available for scheduled buses departing from Ikebukuro Bus Terminal from December to April.

Most highway buses start and finish their journeys at or near major stations. Other routings not listed may also be ticketed through us. Reservation on highway buses are accepted exactly a month in advance till the day before the departure. Purchase must be made within 2 days after a reservation is made.

Child fare (age 3-11) is 50% off the regular adult fare price. Free of charge for infants age 2 yrs and under not occupying a seat. Please turn up at the designated waiting area no less than 30 minutes before the departure time.

The below optional bus plans must be purchased at least 3 working days in advance. Generally they are offered to passengers who have purchased a JAL package tour however it can also be sold as a standalone tour.

Entrance fees are not included in the price (except for Okinawa Fruits Land and Nago Pineapple Park which are covered in the bus ticket price for JAL Yanbaru Liner) and you easily purchase them on the spot.
