This 2-day guided tour leaves from Tokyo and then visits Mt.Fuji and Hakone before ending in Kyoto. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji and visit the historical mountain resort area of Hakone. Explore Kyoto's 1,200 years of history with a visit to the Tokugawa period shoguns' residence, Nijo Castle, and the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion and its exquisite surrounding garden. Visit Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch Japanese artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. Walk through Sanjusangendo, Japan's longest wooden structure, and browse the speciality shops on the walk up to Kiyomizudera Temple, where you can enjoy a sweeping view of the city.

Baggage Instruction <One Way Trip Course> Your baggage will be transported from Tokyo to Kyoto. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage.

<Round Trip Course> Baggage transfer service is not included. Please make your own arrangements to have your baggage transported.
Note Minimum participants required: 1 person
Remarks You will drive up to the highest possible point when the road up to Mt.Fuji 5th Station is closed due to snow or other reasons, or if heavy traffic is expected.
If the Fuji Subaru Line to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is blocked due to road surface freezing or accidents, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fuji Visitor Center or Lake Kawaguchi. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
Hakone Komagatake Ropeway may be omitted due to heavy traffic. The tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.
If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are not running due to inclement weather or maintenance, or as a result of road or organization circumstances, they may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following: Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, etc., but this will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason.
When traveling from Odawara to Kyoto on day1 of the tour, participants may be required to transfer trains at either Shizuoka or Nagoya Station. In such cases, staff will provide instructions on the day.
If the tour is delayed due to heavy traffic congestion, or other operation concerns, non-reserved seatings may be used for the train ride between Odawara and Kyoto. Please note that seating will be non-reserved, so you may have to stand if the train is busy.
The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.
(Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on September 25 and December 25.
Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
During the Jidai Festival on October 22, the Heian Jingu Shrine is closed to the public and will be replaced in the itinerary by Chishaku-in Temple.
If the Jidai Festival is postponed, we will follow suit with the itinerary change.
